The patented ACP formula (amorphous calcium phosphate) not only whitens the teeth, but also protects and remineralises the tooth enamel at the same time. Directions for use

Treatment with Philips Zoom DayWhite 6% should take place after a professional tooth cleaning and under dental supervision. Place a small drop of gel into each tooth compartment of the custom-made tray. Insert the tray and remove excess gel with a cotton bud or your finger. Wear the tray for 30–60 minutes. The recommended treatment duration is around 2 weeks.

Clean the tray under lukewarm water after each use. During treatment, avoid strongly staining foods and drinks such as coffee, red wine, tea or tobacco products to achieve the best possible result.

Who is DayWhite 6% suitable for?

Philips Zoom DayWhite 6% HP is suitable for adults who want to whiten their teeth flexibly during the day and within a short time – whether during the lunch break or in the evening in front of the TV. A prerequisite is a custom-made bleaching tray, which your dentist makes after an examination. For users with sensitive teeth, or anyone who prefers to whiten overnight, the Philips Zoom NiteWhite 16% CP variant is the right alternative.

DayWhite or NiteWhite – which gel is right for me?

DayWhite (6 % hydrogen peroxide) works during the day in short sessions of 30–60 minutes and delivers quickly visible results. NiteWhite (16 % carbamide peroxide) works gently overnight and is particularly suitable for sensitive teeth. Both gels are made by Philips Zoom, contain ACP technology to protect the enamel and are worn in custom trays – the choice depends solely on whether you prefer to whiten briefly during the day or for longer at night.

Storage and shelf life

Store the bleaching gel in a cool place at 2–8 °C (refrigerator). This keeps the effectiveness of the hydrogen peroxide at its best. Protect from direct sunlight. The expiry date is printed on the packaging.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

How quickly will I see results with DayWhite?
The first whitening effects are usually visible after a few days. The final result of up to 6 shades becomes apparent after around 2 weeks of regular use.

How long do I have to wear DayWhite?
Only 30–60 minutes per day – considerably shorter than with overnight bleaching. Please do not exceed the recommended wear time.

Is DayWhite suitable for sensitive teeth?
Potassium nitrate and sodium fluoride minimise sensitivity. For very sensitive teeth, the gentler NiteWhite for overnight use is recommended.

Do I need a tray?
Yes. DayWhite 6% HP is intended exclusively for use in custom-made bleaching trays made by your dentist.

Note: It should only be used after consultation with a dentist. Not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women or adolescents under 18 years of age.

For each cycle of use, first use only by dental practitioners or under their direct supervision if an equivalent level of safety is ensured. Afterwards to be provided to the consumer to complete the cycle of use. Not for use by patients with untreated gum or periodontal disease, untreated caries, exposed dentin, cracked teeth or failing restorations; not for pregnant or lactating women, patients being treated for a serious illness (e.g. immune compromised), patients with known dental hypersensitivity or a history of severe allergic reactions. Do not use within two weeks prior to or immediately after dental restoration. Avoid direct contact of the gel with the gums. If irritation of the gums or mouth occurs (redness, swelling, soreness), discontinue use and consult a dentist. Do not swallow the gel. Contains sodium fluoride. Use only with Zoom whitening trays made by your dentist, do not use damaged trays, do not overload trays. Do not exceed the specified wear times (tooth sensitivity, gum irritation).
