Directions for use
Treatment with Philips Zoom NiteWhite 16% should only take place under dental supervision and after a professional tooth cleaning. Apply the bleaching gel in small drops into each tooth compartment of the custom-made tray. Insert the tray and remove excess gel with a cotton bud or finger. Wear the tray overnight (6–8 hours). The recommended treatment duration is 1–2 weeks.
Clean the tray under lukewarm water after each use. During treatment, avoid strongly staining foods and drinks such as coffee, red wine, tea or tobacco products to achieve the best possible result.
Who is NiteWhite 16% suitable for?
Philips Zoom NiteWhite 16% CP is suitable for adults who want to carry out professional tooth whitening at home. The concentration of 16% carbamide peroxide is particularly suitable for users with slightly sensitive teeth, as it works slowly and gently. Before first use, a dental examination should be carried out and a custom bleaching tray should be made.
Storage and shelf life
Store the bleaching gel in a cool place at 2–8 °C (refrigerator). This keeps the effectiveness of the carbamide peroxide at its best. Protect from direct sunlight. The expiry date is printed on the packaging.
Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
How long does it take for the first results to become visible?
The first whitening effects are usually visible after 3–5 applications. The final result becomes apparent after approx. 1–2 weeks of regular use.
Is NiteWhite 16% CP painful?
The addition of potassium nitrate and fluoride minimises sensitivity. Mild, temporary sensitivity may occur, but disappears after the end of treatment.
How does NiteWhite differ from DayWhite?
NiteWhite is designed for overnight use (6–8 hours with 16% carbamide peroxide), whereas DayWhite was developed as a daytime bleaching gel with hydrogen peroxide for shorter wear times.
Can I use NiteWhite without a tray?
No. NiteWhite 16% CP is intended exclusively for use in custom-made bleaching trays.
Note: It should only be used under dental supervision. Not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women or adolescents under 18 years of age.
